The property is definitely older, but it’s clear the owner is putting effort into keeping it updated and well maintained. Our king room on the second floor at the end of the main building was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family’s needs. The room included a pull-out couch that my 7-year-old son slept on comfortably, and the king bed was more comfortable than many hotel beds we’ve experienced. The indoor pool was a huge highlight for him. It’s on the smaller side and only about 4 feet deep, allowing him to enjoy the entire pool safely. The fact that it’s heated was a big bonus as well. Overall, the hotel offered excellent value for the price, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

The negatives were relatively minor but worth mentioning. Our room was located near the stairs, so there was occasional noise from people using the stairwell and doors slamming shut. The shower had extremely high water pressure, and because the shower head couldn’t be adjusted, the water hit the back wall hard enough to spray outside the curtain and soak everything along that side of the bathroom. We had to put extra towels on the floor to keep it from becoming slippery. When we asked the front desk for additional towels, we were told they couldn’t provide them due to hotel policy. The complimentary breakfast was very basic. It covered the essentials, but a juice option would have been a nice addition, especially for families with children. The only other issue was the mosquitoes around the pool area. During our stay, the pool doors and windows had been left open for an event, and mosquitoes quickly swarmed anyone who wasn’t in the water. Fortunately, this seemed more related to the season and the open doors than the pool itself.

Arrived to the room being over 100° ac remote was broke. Shower tub chipping scared I'd cut myself, was told we got queen beds when walked in they are full beds so they are tiny. We didn't check in untill 3 am. The price changed 3 times from time we booked on line till time I had to pay went from 110 for 2 rooms to over 200 for 2 rooms.

This was one of the nicer hotels in the little area we stayed at. It is right on Route 66 in the edge of town. The pictures really talked it up. And for $90 and a free breakfast, I figured it was a good halfway stop while we were traveling 14 hours.

Now keep in mind that this is an old property. The outside of the building needed some repairs and the area felt a little unsafe. It is a two story building without an elevator. That says a lot to me of how old it was. I was even asked if I had a lot of luggage when making the decision if I would be in the top floor or bottom. Inside the building is descent. It had what was needed for just one night. The rooms were a little small, but it had two beds. That’s what we wanted for four people. It had an older smell and the floor wasn’t very clean. We dropped some water, wiped it with a tissue and the tissue was dirty. The staff was kind when it came to needing extra towels, giving me a new blow dryer because the one in the room wasn’t working, and showed us where we could use an extra toilet. The breakfast was good with sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereals, breads, and yogurt. For $90 for four people, it was what we needed for an over night stay.
