FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole

The property was clean and well located

Overpriced and not at all dog friendly. Our Dog was not allowed in the courtesy car to Florence and we had to pay €49 one way for a cab. Breakfast was poor and if you wanted fresh orange Juice it was €8 a glass and fried eggs were an extra €10. We paid almost €700 for two nights and the extra charges for the dog were very stiff at €85. We paid for a city view room and had no view and were on a very noisy road. We’re travelling across Italy over several weeks and staying in hotels all the way, so far this was the one that stands out as not being at all what we expected.

The Villa Fiesole is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location with glorious views over the city of Florence. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous lunch in the Michelin star restaurant.

Staff is amazing, the place is very beautiful and cozy. The environment with trees, lots of green spaces and amazing inviting scenario. They have shuttle service to Florence, we didn't use it as we were driving, but that was very convenient. Great thanks to Aurora, the entire staff is amazing, but she was over the top! Great breakfast and happy hour food. I would definitely come back.

We could have a better variety of breakfast, but this is a minor point in my opinion.

Location

My deluxe room was ground floor next to reception and smelt badly of mold.

Staff was fantastic! We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary and received complimentary wine that was sent to our room. f Thefree shuttle to downtown Florence city center was wonderful and we got a perfect recommendation for a fantastic dinner place.

Although this was far from the downtown area a road with fast cars was right outside our bedroom window.
