"Desert Paradise!🌴🌴☀️☀️"

We just returned home from the most memorable 2 week stay at the Marriott Desert Villas1. From check in to checkout our stay was flawless. We needed to change from a 1 bedroom unit to a 2 bedroom after the first week to accommodate our son and daughter-in-law’s arrival, and the front desk attendants couldn’t have been kinder. Joe helped with storing our bags and giving us a bit more time, and Luis B. was outstanding!! He went above and beyond to give us the most perfect room. My husband and I are frequent travelers, and work in the hospitality industry. Everyone we encountered at the Marriott property were incredible. We frequented the spa, used the bike, played tennis, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful views. We will 100% return to the Marriott Desert Springs. 🌴

"Laughable"

Since Covid this property is providing less and charging more. As renters (not owners), each year we are getting less and less while being charged more. The latest up charges are daily parking fee of $30 per vehicle for non-owners. In addition, I called to request more towels and later saw a $30 fee on my bill, with no prior knowledge of such a fee. I had to fight for the reversal at check out. We had intermittent wifi throughout our trip (at least 5 of the days) and had to fight for compensation for that as well. Housekeeping for renters never resumed despite Covid being long past. They have a haphazard tidy service randomly. As another review mentioned, they send out a text requesting those checking out to bag up towels, take out their own garbage and run the dishwasher. Really? Absolutely no customer service at all at this property. Some nights they are charging upwards of 800 per night for a 3 star at best. This property should max out at 400 give or take, with the lack of service and housekeeping, less. Note to self and all, book rental weeks through an owner via Redweek, not through Marriott, they do not value your rental business and just look at more ways to gouge you. I’ll be looking elsewhere.

"Beautiful spacious room"

We stayed here about 5 years ago and thought it was great. It still is! We stayed in a one bedroom Villa which had to separate bathrooms. One had a huge bath tub and the other had a toilet and a shower. It’s nice because my husband had our own space to get ready. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The full kitchen has dishes and everything you need to cook or just have coffee. There is also a washer & dryer. The view was lovely and the property is quiet and well maintained. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Very nice accommodation, well appointed room with everything you could need. Balcony faced the golf course with the pool club on the other side … music from the club started early in the morning and played all day and into the evening. Not the relaxing experience we were wanting.

Ive stayed here multiple times and this visit i was double charged and the receptionist basically said it was my fault asked how i didn't notice for so long (2 weeks) why i didn't noticed when i checked out and gave me the most fake apology. She seemed upset when they were the ones that charged me $500 twice. Not what i expected from Marriott.
