ZUGI INN HOTEL

Great hotel, the staff was always available to help us. They also help us to arrange several tours during our stay. Transportation to city centre is manageable by tuk-tuk.

The best about Zugi by far is how friendly and HELPFUL the staff is. Besides, the rooms are comfortable and clean (with air conditioning) and they have a nice terrace area with some cute dog and cat. 10/10

Rooms and bathroom were extremely clean, with air conditioning and complimentary breakfast. The staff were very kind and helpful, allowing me to leave some of my luggage at the hotel during my 3-day trek in the jungle.

Not walkable to downtown, but the price/value cannot be beat!

A clean hotel, and though language issues were the main problem, google Translator was handy. helpful staff. A small city with many operators for Amazon jungle tours. Interesting place to explore.

There was not much to say as it was sort of a base camp stay which was good. Very few ATMs and very bad money exchange rates. Better get it elsewhere before descending to the town.

Really nice owner, kind and gracious guy who does everything to help and make you feel at home. New and clean rooms, comfortable and modern. Very acceptable breakfast too on the rooftop. Cards accepted which isn't always the case in this budget range. Fantastic value.

The location is quite far from town, probably a little too far to walk (though you could). Nothing much nearby for food so you have to make the trip into town, tuktuks can take you but may take a little waiting time to pass by. No window but some natural light in the bathroom.

The price and the air conditioner.

The room needs for furniture. ( cabinet,coat hanger,nightstand) There were in a bed, and the table and tv, but there would have been room to place more furniture that is necessary for complete comfort. Many things had to be packed on the floor or left in the suitcase because of this. There is no window in the room, the bathroom has a mini, unusable one, without a mosquito net.The room was dark and airless.The parquet was split, the corner of the room was not cleaned. Wifi connection is slow, not enjoyable even for watching a movie. The staff does not speak English, which is a basic requirement in a Hotel. The roof terrace is run down, with a torn door, broken ping pong table, and sports equipment exposed as a decoration. The breakfast is poor. It is far from the center, Tuk Tuk takes about 10-15000 COP. The neighborhood is not nice. I recommend this place only to locals, not from overseas visitors.
