Boardwalk Resorts- La Sammana

Location is fabulous. The staff is always friendly and the hotel is clean.

The pillows are very uncomfortable. The bed also had crumbs or sand in it the first night which made me wonder if the sheets had been changed.

Very close to the beach. Building smelled amazing every day. Gym equipments were brand new. Staff is the best! They are kind, polite and always in a good mood.

The cooktop was not very good.

Very comfortable bed. Strong hot shower. The lobby has hot coffee for guests.

I loved the location. Great friendly staff.

No balcony or outdoor space to sit. The pool wasn’t available yet either.

It was clean. The location was where I needed to be - there are basically no options in Brigantine except rental houses. It did have parking though, as others have noted, the parking lot is tight and hard to navigate.

If they didn't price gouge, I'd probably be writing a much better review. But $400/night for this was just obscene. It's old and dark, which is not really what you want at the beach - they've obviously done a few upgrades on furniture; why they chose black and brown leather is beyond me. The "coffee service" in the lobby was ridiculous - a sad urn, with styrofoam cups from the 1980s. At $400/night, put a coffee maker and some coffee packets in the room! They've obviously given up on the pool - though are still sending messages (in 2026) that "unfortunately the pool is closed for the 2025 season." I did see that non-weekend nights are cheaper and, as I said, there are only 2 options in Brigantine and I needed to be there for one Saturday night. If that's you, I guess you'll also bite the bullet and feel cheated. But I do feel cheated. And if you have any other options - take them.

The lobby smells GREAT. VERY CLEAN. FRONT DESK STAFF TOP NOTCH. so helpful.

Really nothing except you should know one lamp in 309 is plugged into a non working outlet. So that was slightly inconvenient but really nothing.

The staff made you feel welcome! It was a quiet and peaceful relaxing environment
