I loved the staff at the front desk. Our room was not ready when we arrived. The young man who checked me in quickly informed me, offered pool access and directions to the restroom to change provided towels, and assured me that they would call when my room was available.. he confirmed my phone number and offered the number that the call would originate from . He worked for the duration of my visit and was always pleasant and accommodating as you would expect in the hospitality industry.. he was a pleasure and a true beacon for your resort- i hope he is being properly compensated he truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, no matter what I asked him he would provide me with clear easy to follow direction including maps and the name of someone I could speak with i will return and he will be the reason why I return. The older gentleman by the pool was also amazing he was the only staff member in the concessions area that advised me that his TIP was already included on my bill instead of not mentioning it and allowing me to double down unknowingly and often refused the additional tip. The staff in the recreation pavilion were pleasant to work with and just as accommodating as the front desk staff as was the young lady at the tiki bar when we showed 5 minutes before closing and she accommodated us and made suggestions with a smile the entire time. The security and grounds staff were also very pleasant when our volleyball went into the lake, and when we found a very manegey looking alley cat near the pool trash cans. They apologized and removed him humanely.

I did not appreciate the way the older lady at the pool bar talked to him ( thr older gentleman from NJ.) in front of me, AND several guests agreed as it was truly a jarring moment during your vacation to watch one employee talk to another with SUCH unkindness or regard for those who were witnessing.. but he handled it with grace and remained upbeat cheerful and pleasant. My room was not ready when I arrived- when we walked into the room, there was a very strong smell of mop water as if the mop used had not been clean or rinsed properly, the room was clean but not fully stocked with towels, we had to request them from the front desk and they were delivered quickly. The pizza smelled great.. the staff was friendly enough. However, the amount of cheese on that pizza made it impossible to enjoy, the children "complained" it was simply way too much cheese.. We were not refunded, but we were given replacement pizzas that were OK. We asked for additional blankets, the sheets and comforters were paper thin, the gray blankets they sent felt like hospital blankets were thin and made of rough material- and I would consider investing in better blankets. There were several agents sitting near the check in area doors across from the reception area and although the line was out the door they did not seem hard pressed to help, did not offer any reason as to why they could not. There was no signage to identify who they were, nor did they at any point introduce themselves or offer any services or help of any kind, but there were always at least 2 people at that desk. Im still unclear what their actual purpose was.. as im aware there are owners and visitors I assumed they were there to assist owners only.. I was not offered any information about how to become an owner if I were interested in becoming one.

The apartment we booked was very spacious and had washer and dryer. We were able to take advantage of the zip-line, mini-golf and wild-life show. Staff was friendly and helpful - providing us towels to use the pool once we checked out.

The rooms felt a bit dated. There was either mold or oxidation on the mirror (it was difficult to tell which). The kitchen was very well stocked but didn't have a kettle. There were lots of bugs on the (outside) door when we arrived but I guess that's expected during April in Florida
