Best Western Plus Strongsville Cleveland

Beds were clean.

Requested room close by. Room was at very far end of hallway (I believe it could have been changed to be closer as the hotel did not appear to be booked). Bathroom plunger outside door overnight. Elevators by room did not work. Ice machines on several floors had been removed. Hallway carpets were very worn and dirty. Tub drain was clogged and barely drained. I was very disappointed my room couldn’t be changed. I had just driven 10 hours and had a procedure at 6:30am the next morning at the Cleveland Clinic.

The best was very comfortable. We slept well. This is the only reason I am giving a 3 rating.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, even with giving the timeframe for arrival. The bathtub drain was clogged up and barely draining. The toilet handle was broken. The carpet had a couple sticky spots that should be addressed. There were only two elevators working in the whole building.

Room has peculiar odor since fresh air never come in because the windows are never open to let in fresh air. Nothing else. The WIFI was excellent and needed no password. You did great on these two.

The location was convenient being right off I-71 with a mall, several stores, and a good selection of restaurants on the other side of the freeway and two convenience stores adjacent to the parking lot. The decor was nothing special and it's clear this hotel should be renovated in the next few years. The rooms are clean and functional with the normal amenities one would expect, though it would have been nice to have been supplied body wash instead of bar soap. The daily towel service was a surprise given most hotels have cut back on that. There was noticeable noise through thin walls once the girls' softball teams checked in for their tournament.

Great size pool and outdoor patio.

Rooms were outdated, falling apart and dirty. Our room had trash and food under the bed. Toliet paper holder barely hanging on. Bathroom smelled like mold/mildew so bad. Shower nozzle didn’t work and no linen for the pull out bed..
