Staff was very friendly and went beyond thier service to help me. Rooms are very nice for the price. There was only 2 problems I had while staying there. 1) Every day the key card wouldnt work so every day i had to go to the office to get it fixed. 2) I stayed there for 5 days and never got room service. Even when requested.

Very small hotel. It took for ever to be helped by the front desk. Bed is very uncomfortable. I did not feel safe. TV did not work. I think the residents family lived above my room - their was constant noise above me. Did not sleep well at all. I would not recommend this hote.

"Would not choose to stay again"

6.0

Not a great stay: They accidentally gave us a key to an occupied room; hair was on the sink, toilet, and towel; big leak from upstairs; thin walls and ceiling (poor sound proofing); breakfast was just donuts. But the staff was polite and courteous.

"Beds full not king"

8.0

Was good for what it cost, was as expected, only really 1 complaint, the beds were supposed to be king & they were only full. Would recommend for friends, probably.

A lot of noise from folks upstairs, most from walking, creaking furniture. Louder than it normally would ahve been.

"Artistic, clean, family owned and operated "

10.0

This is a great, inexpensive, CLEAN hotel right off the highway. It seems to be run by a family. The daughter? I'm guessing she's the daughter based off of age comparison apon arrival was helping and inspecting the rooms as they were being turned over. I appreciated this, really shows they care and pride of ownership. The new paint and artist touches were well done. We were able to see a beautiful sunset over the little town from our room. I've read the other reviews and... let's be real here, any hotel/motel just off the highway are going to have the same issues with shenanigans from weary travels. Bottom line is it's an older place that's clean, safe and inexpensive. The only complaint I had was about the grandpa/father lol he gave us a wake up call, we didn't ask for. Asked my husband what room he was staying in 4 times while getting coffee in the morning (we were not stealing your coffee man lol we didn't even have one of the complimentary donuts) and as we drove out again, asked what our room number was so he could check to make sure we checked out. I have a dad like this myself, we chuckled and moved on with our journey. I support local, family owned businesses and I wish more people did too.

"Dangerous for kids"

2.0

First, I asked for a king sized bed non smoking which was listed at $47 a night. The clerk pretended to not speak English well. You do not receive an itemized spread sheet explaining your bill and hotel policy, just a cash register receipt. Upon arriving in our room discovered that it was two full beds so wife and I had to sleep separate. Two full beds cost $55 a night so was charged $8 extra by desk clerk. Secondly, the desk clerk did not observe Covid-19 protocol and occasionally removed his mask while booking the room. In the room the sheets were dingy but smelled washed. The room was outdated with the only upgrade a sloppy coat of paint. The smoke detector looked ancient and had paint over part of the sensor so doubtful it would function properly. The room entry safety lock had been busted off the door frame making me wonder if we were safe. The bathroom did not have an operational exhaust fan so the whole room smelled like an outhouse if you had to use the facilities. But the worst of all was that the bedside lights were hot wired into the electrical outlet and the cover was left off leaving electrified wires exposed to the touch and could result in electrocution or short out fire. Do not stay here with kids as it is hazardous. OSHA should definitely visit this place. We only stayed here because a flood resulted in a state of emergency and we could not go home.
