Rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable

The price was cheap. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The water was hot. The a/c worked well. There was a lot of room to move about. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Smelled clean. Dining table to sit at. Plush chair in room. Plenty of drawer space. A place to hang up clothes. Left alone. Great parking space. Right off of the interstate.

There were a lot of holes. Bathroom door didn't close. There is evidence of water damage from a flood. From what locals told me, I presume it was from a hurricane a couple of years ago. I had to kill a few roaches. The toilet needed a new wax ring. The cable only worked when I first arrived at the hotel. The drapes were held together by paper clips. There were stains all over the walls.

Not impressed

The bed and pillows were comfortable. Enjoyed the company of a visiting lizard who wanted to check out what I was doing in my room.

Not very handicap friendly. Just enough room for my Rollator if I moved the table and chairs. Floor slippery because of the rain. Not enough area for the standard wheelchair. Getting in and out of the bathtub was dangerous; too slippery. Poor Wi-Fi connection. Never got a station on the television. Breakfast was advertised, but hasn't been served since COVID. No ice machine. No telephone to reach the front desk.

When I got there, I could not get in because the lobby was locked at 5 pm! There was a handwritten sign saying gone to lunch!? I rang the night bell three times. No answer. I really wanted to use the bathroom before going to the game! Nope. After the game, I went back, figuring my card had already been charged. Yep. After I got a keycard and a receipt, I drove around to my room. There was a shirtless guy on the sidewalk cooking with a hot plate on a card table!? I got my stuff into the room. The TV was stuck on the Spanish language screensaver so I read a book. The shower almost had water pressure … I cleaned up and left in search of civilization.

Did end up stay, place looked bad.
