"Stole my personal towels bad business"

2.0

Not only was the manger rude from the beginning he did nothing to help and I have the video footage to prove it. The housekeeper reached up on a shelf where my personal clothes were along with some of my towels I brought with me a peach and white towels. The housekeeper said she thought they were there's and no one is allowed extra towels. Then the manager said people take towels off the housekeeper carts all the time. Implying I took the towels mind you the towels had been up there since the first day I came. Prior housekeepers didn't touch them so I would have had to steal the half the cart of towels in one day if that was the case. Then the tv went out took 5 hours to get a new one I was asked to leave when I first complained about the towels by the manager who was rude upfront.

"Good Value"

8.0

Overall was not bad. The rooms come with a Fridge and Microwave which is very nice. Our room was nice and clean. The only issue that we had were the beds were a little stiff. Too firm for my comfort, but that honestly is the only con.

"Low cost clean rooms"

8.0

I stay at this hotel once a year on my way up to go hiking in Michigan. The rooms are always clean, even though you may be a little concerned when you first drive up. The counter people can be a little rough and don't stay in the back where the long-term residents gather. I prefer the rooms up front on the southeast side of the property although they have recently renovated other south side rooms lately. The Denny's next door is good and there is a MCD's and a couple of gas stations nearby. I have never had an issue here, and I will continue to save money by staying here.

"Enjoyed my stay"

10.0

I've stayed here a couple times when I came up to visit with family. It's a quaint little motel. The rooms were very clean, They're remodeling, the manager is really trying to make it even better. The swimming pool was very well kept and my niece and I enjoyed sitting around it relaxing. I travel a lot for work and stay in many kinds of motels. I like this kind of motel best because of the homey feel and the helpful staff. I've noticed most people on this site tend to have what my mother calls "Champagne taste with beer pocket books" If you're wanting beautiful room at the Hilton, Go pay the Hilton prices... But if you're looking for a nice safe motel that fit's your budget, I'd suggest you stay here. I will be staying here whenever I'm in the area. I wish I had taken pictures but I forgot in the excitement of being with my family.

"Low cost and low quality"

4.0

For about $40. a night this is probably the cheapest minimally acceptable motel in the Toledo area. It is convenient to both I-75 and to the Ohio Turnpike. The rooms are clean enough but they are quite small. The air conditioning took a considerable amount of time (about two or three hours) to be effective on a hot night but it did eventually perform, though it was noisy. The beds were comfortable enough. There is a Denny's restaurant adjoining the motel and a Tim Horton's on the other side of I-75. Other than these, the area is mostly open farm fields with some warehouses nearby and is about ten miles from downtown Toledo. The upkeep for the grounds and the parking area certainly needs more attention. There is trash there. We found no bugs in the place and the bathroom facilities were acceptable though not at all elaborate. In short, you can put up with one night at this Knights Inn and save some money. But you will feel much more comfortable if you are willing to pay about $10 more per night at another motel. Finally, this motel gets high praise for making available in the morning a supply of very delicious donuts in the lobby. These donuts are top notch, especially if you like the soft, sweet kind with frosting. They probably come from the Tim Horton's on the other side of the road.
