Econo Lodge Petersburg - Fort Lee

The pool looks like it hasn’t been open in a couple of years, the room had a smell, my white socks became black on bottom. The refrigerator had so much ice in the freezer part and it was brown like a soda had exploded in there. I was taller than the shower and I’m 5’5” the ceiling had a big old crack from one and to the other and it looked like they had just patched it. I was just I won’t be back.

Holes in the sheets, tub was rusty and discolored, toilet not flushing properly. I can share photos - I only stayed because it was late and we had a long tiring drive. If I had walked in before bringing items in - I would have turned around and left.

Nothing

The room was filthy, there were roaches, the bed sheet was not clean, the chair in the room was broken, no shower mat, the attendant at the front desk was high during check-in, the room was not made up after my first night, Bookings shows breakfast and there is none, no sound damping so you hear lots of highway noise, etc!!!

It was a roof over my head.

Their pool was closed, looked like it wasn’t maintained in a long time. The fridge was leaking water all over the room since the fridge couldn’t stay closed (Uses a bungee cord from my car to keep it closed). Was left a used lotion bottle that had mold on it instead of a new one. The bathroom reeked of cigarettes. And the AC was barely functioning.

Dirty noisy and all over rated was terrible and not the safest place to be and nothing but drama and chaos all night with roaches on the walls and windows molded as well as the smell was awful as if poop was lingering around.

The hotel room smelled like cigarettes bad and in bathroom there was roaches .There is a pool but in bad condition not like the picture as advertised. The bed sheet were clean that’s all .

No breakfast , staff was polite ,price was right
