I liked it due to location

Checked in at 11-11:20 pm and our First room was dirty. Shower had brown stuff and hair all In it and wasn’t wiped down at all.. Had to be moved rooms. Then was charged for a smoking fee for the aroma of marijuana but no smoke in the room. The hotel is located right across the street from a marijuana manufacturing warehouse! The whole area as you drive through it smells of the plant. Management accused us of smoking in the room due to the smell but it’s easy to point out a smoking smell and just the flower..there is very smell different. When I spoke with the manager she didn’t let me speak. She claimed a bunch of quest complained that evening about smoking but no one ever said anything we didn’t get there till very late didn’t see no one round. I went to Sheetz up the road and went out to the car twice. Never once did we have any issues even the very nice front desk lady came to our room to help with the tv. And then again later that night had to remake a key for me. Never once was told about any complaints. Or smell or smoking. But they still charged me the smoking for when no smoking was done in the room. They claimed a wrapper or package was in the trash. When I asked what was found in the trash the house keeping manger said it was a marijuana package and that is false. My medical is in jars I save those and then the hotel manger claimed she couldn’t tell me what was found in the trash that causing me a fee But again no ash or smoking smell was in the room because again I know the policy. I had carried my medical on me visited many hotels. Even ones more fancy and never was charged for the smell that lingered alil.. I was charged for a piece of trash apparently because that’s some how proof..I was spoken to unprofessionally and I feel if your charging me for a smoking fee I should be told and maybe add in your policy that holiday inn doesn’t respect quest personal property and that you can’t throw away certain things in the trash during your stay.

Enjoyed my stay here. Clean, well stocked room with very comfortable bed & large screen tv. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of hot choices; a great job done by Leo.

The young lady who was working that night went above and beyond for me. I was ill and running a fever and she went out of her way to locate Tylenol for me and to bring the bottled water I purchased to my room. Give that gal a raise!
