Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Corpus Christi

The only was the security needs to be better. On the 4th of July weekend property of others needs to respected. Fishing poles were stolen off of the truck. While we were asleep before we were able to check out on Sunday. Stolen on sunday someone that was also staying there checked out before everyone else and took off with our fishing poles. Other than that everything was fine up to that point.

We had to do a late check in (after midnight) and they were so accommodating. Debbie and the guy at that check me in at 2am were so nice and helpful.

The overall stay was good. The sink and bathtub was not as clean as it should have been, I understand that when you are running a business with limited staff, they can overlook and miss a few areas. However, it is a hospitality industry and the rooms need to walked from a manager or self owner, to make sure that cleaning was a priority. Overall, it was a good stay and parking was a little tight. I will stay for one night next time, not three. Not as comfortable for long stays.

The property was very nice and clean, rooms and beds were clean.

The location isn’t horrible there is just a bunch construction.

Check in went fine. After being in the room for a little while, I moved one of the pillows on one of the beds and there was a live bed bug crawling on the bottom of the pillow. I captured it in a pill bottle. I went to the desk and the clerk said that he would notify his boss and someone would contact me in the morning. I slept in my vehicle. In the morning nobody came by to check on my room. I went to the morning clerk and she apologized for the inconvenience and called her boss. Her boss said that he could not refund my money because I had booked the room through a 3rd party (you). I was offered a 50 % discount for another night. I told her that I would never stay there again.

For me it was the location. A minute to downtown corpus and 5 minutes to North Beach, exactly where I wanted to be.

Great place to stay at an affordable price. The room was clean, and basic necessities were provided.

The pool was way smaller than advertised on their Google images. That was one thing we were looking forward to but didn't really get to enjoy.
