Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center

Great location-5 minute walk to Moda center for a concert!! Really kind and friendly staff!

The place was very run down. Beds were comfortable though. The room I was in had a connected door to the room next to me which I could hear everything through including children crying at midnight and moderate volume music and talking.

I think it’s good. Everything good people the customer.

The check-in process was easy enough, and the young man at the front desk was polite. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. When I got to the room, it had a very strong, unpleasant odor, and I didn’t feel particularly safe or comfortable. The grounds themselves are in need of serious upkeep and an overall refresh, which only added to the uneasy feeling. I decided to check out right away and stay elsewhere. I booked the room based on the proximity to the convention center as the events hotel block was full — I should have spent some time reading reviews.

There was nothing to like here.

DONT COME HERE. There is no real breakfast (there is only coffee and cereal), the room smells horrible, area is unsafe. The most horrible part was the office staff. When we checked out we asked for our $150 deposit back, because we’ve had bad experiences with deposit refunds. The Indian man attending us yelled at us, two women, and told us to “stay home” next time. Spoke to us as if we were stupid and raised his voice the entire time. This place is absolutely embarrassing, we did them a favor with our money and it is our right to inquire about where it goes, only to be treated this way by an extremely disrespectful man. This place needs to close down.
