Candlewood Suites - Charlotte - Arrowood by IHG

I like that the rooms are big and spacious. I like that there is a full size fridge along with sink, dishwasher, microwave, and small stove top. The only concern we had was it was warm in the bedroom and the fan didn't work.

I loved all of the accommodations and the fact that it was close to the Bank of America Stadium. It was a wonderful stay!

I noticed the shower wasn’t thoroughly cleaned but not a big deal. I would have loved for the pool to have been opened, we were looking forward to that.

Very clean, great location

The staff was kind. I did not feel comfortable with the lighting on the hallway and the room smelled like a gym.

How big the rooms where and how they had full kitchens in them and the free laundry was also nice

Hotel needs some updates, very outdated and needs some TLC.

I stayed at this hotel (really a motel) for 3+ months as a 1st Responder for the hurricane. This is a motel....NOT WORTH STAYING for washer/dryers. Guest take over the machines since they bring extended families laundry & friends. You have to grab machines in the middle of the day or in the wee hours of the morning. Front desk employees are not trained to handle the paperwork. I had to wait numerous times for the manager to return to work, so I could receive a weekly print out of the bill for my Expense Report. *****Still waiting for a REFUND of $1358.00 to my CC Manager (Janet), acknowledges (in writing) the hotel OWES me the refund, yet she, district manager & corporate CANNOT figure out how to refund my CC 🤯🤬 I left Candlewood March 11, 2025 & STILL trying to obtain my refund 🤐😱 WTH...It appears this location IS going to STEAL my refund. I asked the manager to have the hotel/franchisee or corporate to send me a check. I'm willing to deposit it & apply the money to my CC. Janet stated: the hotel cannot write a check. No one can write a check for the refund. REALLY 😮 What other conclusion, am I to come up with than: this IHG has very intention of STEALING my money?!? IHG: Is this called Customer Satisfaction?!? I spent over 12k to stay at this mediocre hotel that behaved like a motel. I will never stay at a IHG property again. Due to my job, I stay in hotels 7+ months each year. Where IS IHG's loyalty & fiduciary responsibility to their guest?!!? Seems like they have none🥺 I would love IHG or the franchisee to prove me wrong & REFUND my money you acknowledge owing me

The property was very clean, easy check in and checkout. Room was exactly as expected from pictures on website. Staff extremely nice
