Holiday Inn Express Irondequoit by IHG

Nicely maintained, good first impression.

It hadn’t been vacuumed thoroughly, there was debris underneath the heater by the window. We were awoken at 1 am to street racing on the highway adjacent to the property. I heard another guest also talking about it at breakfast the next morning.

I liked the breakfast which had a variety of food items; coffee waa good and the turkey sausage was a nice option for those who don't eat pork.

The 1st room we were in didn't have a working heating system. When we informed staff, we were given another room which was on the main foor. While the heat worked in this room, it was in a poor location of the hotel as we often heard noise above us, outside in the hallway, and outside the window which faced the parking lot. The shower in the bathroom had multiple strands of hair in it prior to us using it, the water dripped from the shower all night and the toilet would go off on its own making some weird sounds. Since it was only 1 night, we just managed it, but would not have been able to do a second night like that.

Clean and quiet

All of the breakfast items were restocked throughout the posted times.

I requested a room on the first floor but ended up on the third.
