Kellogg West Conference Center and Hotel

The place and the workers were really nice. We had an A/C issue with our room and they were helpful. Sadly, the other room we switched also felt really warm. We could also hear the shower drip water.

It's tucked away in the hill so it doesnt feel like you're in the city

There was mold and mildew in our room and we had to move to a different room. No dinning campus food, we had to uber to dinning. I liked the grounds around the campus. Food provided by the hotel for the training was mediocre.

A well run hotel

Nice quiet resort like property on cpp campus having all the food options in various school cafes. Morning coffee sitting on the balcony next to the trees on a small hill watching birds doing their early runnings. It was probably built in the nineties. But is kept clean and comfortable. Shower has incredible water pressure out of pipe probably built before the environmental conversation time. Stay once to appreciate what it offers.

Rooms were spacious and quiet. Staff was very welcoming and engaging. Food was outstanding. Will definatly visit again Room view overlooked wooded area and was very serene and tranquil. Room was just a short walk to conference center.

I was honestly shocked at what a sub-standard property this turned out to be. It was only upon arrival when I asked what time breakfast was, were we told that was discontinued for now. When I asked about the fitness center advertised, same answer. When I was told there was "no maid service" I would've just cancelled and left had we not had a long drive and been there for only one night. The front office is run by Cal Poly students. The room was extremely shabby. Torn bed skirt, sheets that didn't fit and while I am very petite, the bathroom (without a functioning lock, mold around the caulking and an old rubber mat) was truly the smallest bathroom I think I've ever encountered. The cable reception was spotty, and I had to clean the patio chairs which were absolutely filthy to sit outside as the room smelled moldy and damp and we wanted to air it out. The AC was so loud it kept us up all night. Dirty bed linens were in a big pile outside out door and still there when we left at 8 am. I travel a great deal, and other hotels charging the same fees have functioning fitness rooms and breakfasts if advertised. Truly a surprising and very poorly run and maintained facility.

The toilet was clogged and the seat was broken. I am usually not one to complain, but this room should not have been rented in the condition it was in. The smell was awful and we were forced to change. We forgot our coats in the closet and called the next day to ask if they would mail them to us at our expense. The desk promised to inquire with house keeping and get back with me. They did not follow up and later claimed housekeeping could not find our coats. All-in-all it was was an awful experience!
