Comfort Inn & Suites Troutville-Roanoke North

location was good. not much to choose from for the breakfast so went elsewhere for that. the beds sucked and ended up hurting and not getting much sleep.

the breakfast options were minimal the bed was uncomfortable. smelled like pot and mold in the hall ways. was hard to understand the one desk clerk so had to speak with another that could speak clear and pronounce words properly, and when i did that he got very rude. Did not appreciate his attitude after driving 14hrs there. and being up for 18hrs

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at Comfort Inn and to request a refund due to the poor experience I had. From the beginning, I experienced rude and unprofessional behavior from staff, which made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable during my stay. Customer service is a major part of the hotel experience, and unfortunately, the treatment I received fell far below reasonable expectations. I was also disappointed to discover there was no pool available, which was one of the amenities I expected and part of the reason I chose this hotel. In addition, there was a very strong paint smell coming into the room that made the environment unpleasant and difficult to tolerate. The odor was overwhelming and greatly impacted my comfort and ability to relax during my stay.

The hotel was fine; the facilities, location, and staff were very good. But the bed was awful

The mattress was too soft; it was as if it had a hole in the center. It was very late and I just wanted to rest, but the mattress was definitely useless, which made our rest nonexistent

The location is easy to find from the freeway and is far enough off the interstate that it's nice and quiet. The property was clean and everything worked. Checkin/out was a breeze. The staff was friendly. It's always nice to find an affordable hotel option that's clean and well-maintained.
