Hotel AKA Boston Common

An unexpected gem. Our room was not ready when we were ready to check in and Rebecca was so great at taking the edge off. Rooms are pretty roomy for a city hotel and service so far has been great

We had several rooms as we were celebrating a birthday. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great. Debbie Rafferty is the Reservation and Revenue Manager and she was a great help in managing my reservations and making our stay special.

We stayed at the AKA Boston Common for 3 nights. Our room was in the 7th floor (703) and was a good size, overlooking the front of the hotel. Despite the central location the hotel was very quiet. Staff were unremarkable except for the lovely bar server who was super friendly and attentive. Nice touch was having a happy hour with complimentary red and white wine from 4-5pm each day. The hotels location was exceptional, just steps from the State House and Boston Common and a great base for exploring Boston. Only downside was the shower which was not very powerful. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot review. We did however have breakfast at Bakey nearby which was incredible!

Great stay at the AKA Boston Common. Hotel Staff was awesome, Nate and Joei really stood out and went the extra mile for us! We were staring there for our 30th anniversary so we’re happily surprised to walk into our room and see a beautiful chilled bottle of prosecco. Plus, they offered a lot of great advice on restaurants and things to do! Sometimes it’s the little touches that stick with you. The director of the hotel Mike McMahon was wonderful as well. Cheers all!

We stayed for Boston marathon weekend. Nice hotel, well- located. However we accidentally left a bag of sweaters in a drawer in the wardrobe. I know it was stupid, but we have been in contact with the hotel several times and also used ileftmystuff.com with very poor response. They keep saying they will get back to us but never do. Really disappointed as a couple of the sweaters quite quite expensive- I'd hate to think they were stolen

La ubicación,.la cafetera y la pava en la habitaciones están ok, aunque o enchufas una o la otra!

El hotel solo vale por la ubicación, el desayuno no está incluído, el tema de la habitaciones es todo un verso. Contratamos nuna premium nos pusieron en una común y nos dijieron que esa era la que tocaba. Después de discutir un rato nos cambiaron. Encargamos unas maletas por Amazon, llegaron al hotel y estaban "desaparecidas" hasta después de un largo rato de elevar el tono de la conversación y aparecieron misteriosamente en un lugar que no debían..Colchón vencido!

Location was great. Everything around the city was within walking distance. All of the staff was very friendly. Rebecca was super helpful in suggesting things that are must do's around Boston
