Americas Best Value Inn Kelso

They stopped doing breakfast. They used to serve waffles, then it was English muffins and honey buns, coffee, & juice. Now they only serve coffee and tea for a few hours in the morning. So if the price includes breakfast and there's no more breakfast, shouldn't they drop the price a little?

The person in the office on Sundays is very rude and she over charges everyone 20 to 25 dollars than what they are normally charged and nothing gets done about it until the main manager comes in the next day and if you try to complain about her not giving you back your 2 keys , and over charging and arguing with you and they ask you to suck it up for arguments sake and they know you are right but they tell you they will have a talk with her in the morning. I'm the paying customer and I'm the one who has to suck it up so she doesn't call and complain to the main manager at 6 am again. Other than dealing with that one worker on Sundays and no more breakfast in the mornings, even if it was just English muffins and honey buns, the place isn't too bad and the rest of the staff is great.

Third time I have stayed at this property and no TV each time

Rather noisy due to located near train tracks

The property seems old but is clean. Staffs are friendly. There was some noise from train ? I am not sure but it sounds like train. Only when I arrived, there were a couple of people outside that I felt a bit unsafe. Overall, it is nice. Price is good

Staff was extremely helpful

Toilet was plugged, heater didn't barely warm up room even though it was on all night, the door had to be forced open an then wouldn't shut properly.

I forgot the ladies name that checked us in but she was super nice and gave good info. Beds are comfy too.

Price was decent.
