"Great hotel...with a ridiculously high pet fee for one small dog."

Location, cleanliness, and facilities were excellent. I loved my stay.

While I loved my stay, I had quite a surprise when I received my statement online after chekcking out and was charged a $100 pet fee. The fee for my dog was nearly as much as the fee for my entire room. I always travel with my dog and at every other hotel, the pet fee has ALWAYS been verbally stated/clarified/confirmed when I check in. I did sign the paper about pets, but again...shame on me...because I just glanced at it and the lighting at the front desk was dim, so did not look at it as closely as I should have. Shame on me for that, as I just glanced at it and thought that I was signing for a fee in the event that my pet caused damage. Your staff should really make sure to explain that the fee is $100 at checking, as your pet fee was double to triple what it has been at every other hotel. For that reason, alone, I will not be returning.

We prebooked this on hotels.com and didn't realize it was non refundable. I had the flu and couldn't come. I called thr manager and Mariott's cstomer care, however they could not help me

front desk clerk was rude and spoke poor English and had zero listening skills. The manager was no help nor was Marriott.
