Olympia Hotel Events & Spa

Was staying here with a colleague on a business visit to Valencia with a couple of days cycling tagged on. Nice enough hotel, convenient for the metro and cycleways - the hotel has a cycle room with some tools and a workstand. Buffet breakfast and evening meal have a wide and varied selection available, all well cooked and presented.

The hotel was very noisy. Three of the 4 nights I was woken up in the middle of the night by noise from other guests. Congregating in the corridors.

Please stay away from this hotel! Not only service is terrible, far from 4* standards.. spa and pool area is used by public, so if you wanna chill at the swimming pool you'll probably have a hard time relaxing. You can't even get a proper glass to the room, so be prepared for a paper ones.. but most importantly KEEP YOUR CASH WITH YOU BECAUSE THE STAFF IS STEALING AND NO ONE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY, they won't even say sorry.. their response was " why didn't you use safe". AVOID AT ALL COST

The property was decent but the food options were limited and beds were hard as concrete as well the pool was disappointing

This is my fourth time at this hotel as I use it when I am at the MotoGP in Valencia weekend. Hotel staff friendly as always. The rooms have been updated since my last visit and are more than adequate for a few days. Only used the restaurant this year for breakfast and at €8.50 is very good value. Plenty of choice and all food quality food. This year we stayed in room 103. I would not recommend this room as it is directly above the front entrance, and we soon found out especially in the early hours it was very noisy. People standing out laughing and chatting vey loudly at all hours on the early morning and night, so we didn’t get much sleep. The room cleaner whoever they were did an excellent job. Other than this I would definitely stay here again but would ask for a room on one of the higher floors.

Stayed for 3 nights for the moto gp. Hotel itself is good, with a good choice of food for breakfast, and drinks at breakfast were good too, buffet style. Rooms are big and are of a good standard, with comfy beds, but the pillows need replacing as they were quite flat, ( plenty of use), and only one provided. Bathroom is nice and big with hot water each time showered. The biggest downfall was the amount of noise we could hear, and from the outside too, as we were on the first floor... Even with the windows shut we could hear people's conversations, which woke us up in the early hours. Also around 5.30-6am the police on motorbikes would meet there and all leave their bikes running. For the 3 nights we didn't get much sleep. If anyone thinks of staying here, request a room on a much higher floor. We would stay here again, on a higher floor.

Overall it was a good saty but little disappointed with swimming pool cleanliness and very limited options for vegetarian food in buffet.

Too much noise in the halls, small bed for two, hard pillow, only one pillow person, a false fire alarm at 3:30AM woke me up ! No apologies. The breakfast quality could be improved... asked for 30 minutes extension and absolutely no flexibility. The area is ok,but not for tourist, its safe. They have a events business, not sure if those caused fireworks well pass midnight. My sleep was defficient. Even though i asked for a quiet room, they seem to not understand my petition.

Hotel was overall good, would not say it is 4 star hotel, it’s more 3 star. Staff were friendly, however one morning a staff member did walk into our room while we were sleeping around 9am. The food was not great, we ended up eating out for breakfast and dinner. The spa was excellent.

Went for a conference and was booked as conference accommodation. Has dated significantly since photos were taken. Air conditioner screeched all night to the point had to share a colleague's room as they could not accommodate a move at that time. Breakfast was Ok but coffee cups dirty. Quite a distance from Valencia city centre if wanting to see the sights. You do pay for what you get so probably in keeping with price per night. Staff tried to help when they could.
