The hotel was undergoing renovations so it wasn't very esthetically pleasing. All things considered it wasn't bad. The staff was accommodating and the room was comfortable.

The clerk informed us at check in that they were doing repairs from tornado two years ago. The hotel was run down, curtains in room were dirty, walls in hallway and carpet visibly dirty. We booked for two nights and left after the first night. Layout of room was spacious, after renovations it may be a nice place.

Although under renovations (07/21-7/23/25), the room and stay were great! The staff and breakfast were top notch. Didn’t mind the 30 minute drive to Beaver’s Bend. BRING YOUR OWN 2-PLY! You will thank me! They had the cheapest John Wayne TP (IYKYK), and we aren’t TP snobs—this stuff was bad! But, all in all, very good stay after a quick trip to the dollar store! If we are ever staying in Idabel again, we will stay again.

As of July 2025. The hotel is undergoing renovation. I'm sure it will look nice when done, but it is pretty ROUGH at the moment. Room is fine but it does not make you feel great sleeping there over night. Like staying in an abandoned building. They also have a new policy apparently that only allots for 4 dog rooms in the hotel and they charge a $50 additional fee per night. Not on hotels.com website. Pet owners prepare. Staff were nice, though.

The location had a very dirty smell and was being renovated which is good because it is very much needed. Our rooms AC was broken and it was 81 degrees in our room and we had to switch rooms Saturday afternoon which was very inconvenient,because we lost the Jacuzzi tub amenity and was charged 2 $ more than my original booking and had to a switch to a cheaper room. Also I just feel like the manager on duty was over it and didn't really care to make amends for the major inconvenience.
