Comfort Inn Madison near Clifty Falls

The staff was great, easy check in/check out. Swimming pool was very nice and warm. The outside area is very nice.

My bed smelled like old sweat, the sauna wouldn't get warm, the vending machine on the third floor was an antique I think.

My brother and I travel with our families to visit our Dad and usually book our rooms at the same time. This is the 3rd stay for us at this hotel. It is always clean and smells clean. The staff are always friendly.

One of our kids is special needs and so to get him to breakfast by 9 was a little rough. One of the mornings we thought breakfast was till 10 and the staff was nice enough to let him eat. I would be great for breakfast to be till 10 even on week days.

I did not stay. We walked into the room and the stench was awful. My child sat on the bed and when I pulled back the covers I found that the stench was vomit, blood and feces. I immediately went to front and requested a refund and checkout. The manager Sonal Patel refused stating since she was offering a different room she would not refund the 148.34 charged to my card after being there for minutes. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau.
