The beautiful historic Villa sits in a stunning, wonderful park. Every corner and detail speaks of its former glory. We had one of the fantastic, large corner rooms with large stained-glass windows, silk wallcoverings, historic furniture, and Murano chandeliers. Very comfortable beds with wonderful bed linen - I had the best sleep in ages! We visited the Hotel many, many years ago. It still capped his former 5-star appeal, but unfortunatly proper restoration of this amazing villa would probably cost a fortune. To my disappointment, the pool was not open yet, but it looks great, and the very nice staff organised a deckchair for me to enjoy the beautiful garden and spring in Italy. We have to return with our granddaughter when the pool is open!
