Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague-Waterfront, Va

Been at this hotel 4 years ago. Friendly staff, only friendly person this time server at breakfast. Again room smelt of feet, had to spray rug with perfume

We were greeted immediately upon entering the hotel. The first thing I noticed was the walkway entrance was spotless. We noticed it was hosed down and scrubbed each morning. What a difference it makes. At any time of day, the receptionist at the front counter greeted us. All too often in the past, the hotel employees AT OTHER HOTELS acted as if it’s a bother to hand you another towel, to answer a question, or to even say hello. The hotel was clean. The continental breakfast offered was filled with many choices. The indoor pool was clean. The walkway deck outside facing the water was very clean and offered a relaxing view. It’s been a long time since the family has stayed in a hotel where the price, cleanliness, receptionist, and accommodations were all top-notch. This place fit the bill!

Beautiful property apparently #2 Hampton inn in the country. Only here for work but would definitely revisit for leisure.

This hampton inn was beautiful the breakfast was delicious the staff was great. Would stay there again.

What a great surprise--this is an outstanding Hampton!!! Clean and fresh, breakfast and coffee areas were well-stocked at all times, and they have the friendliest staff (deck chairs were dried before breakfast after overnight rain, front desk clerk was super kind when we rolled in around midnight to check-in, cookies available in the evening). Our room was serviced each day without having to ask. They have a case full of Hampton awards in the lobby, well-deserved! As another example, they were letting the local high school cheer team do a fundraiser car wash. Many rooms face the water and have decks.

This hotel was great! Every staff member that we encountered was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The location and of course, the view was wonderful! We loved the porch and dock area, we wished we had more time to really take advantage of it. Our room was spacious, clean and had a nice balcony with a water view which was beautiful. The pool was very nice and my husband enjoyed the whirlpool next to the pool. The breakfast was plentiful with a nice selection plus the eating area was clean and bright. Unfortunately, we were only there overnight and all of us were sorry we weren’t staying longer. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and I will be telling our family and friends to also.

Great place to stay in Chincoteague, close to the wildlife refuge.

We have stayed here several times and it was a wonderful stay as always. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our AC unit was making a loud noise so they upgraded us to a waterfront room with no problem.
