Super 8 by Wyndham Medina

Room was not cleaned well. Linens dirty.

It was a nice hotel but no wow factor. The bed was very comfortable. Good selection of pillows. The breakfast was low key. They did have a waffle machine and the waffles were good. I would stay there again.

This Super 8 is conveniently located right off the interstate. It's an older building, but it was clean and well maintained. The fall flowers and pumpkins outside the entrance were pretty! I stayed for one night in order to attend a gathering in the area. My room had one king-sized bed that was very comfortable. Fixtures in the bathroom looked older but again, were very clean. I couldn't find the guide on the television, but that's probably just my own lack of tech skills. My room did have a vague unpleasant odor, like... people... but I don't know where it was because it had hard-surface flooring (no carpet to hold odors) and the bed was definitely clean. The breakfast area is small with limited selections, but sufficient for me to get my day started. My biggest problem was people SLAMMING DOORS along the hallway around my room. I understand you're checking in at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. or whatever, but stop SLAMMING YOUR DOORS! And I realize that's out of the hotel's control. Overall, I thought this Super 8 was a decent, safe place to stay at a great, reasonable price.

It was adequate. Clearly an improvement since Windham took over, would stay again.

The management and rest of the staff were super friendly and attentative. The rooms and property were well maintained. Peaceful quiet very clean and everything just flowed. No surprises. Easy.
