Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Louisville East

Breakfast was adequate. They ran out of eggs one morning and ran out of bagels another day and had no refills of either item available. But overall, it was very good, especially the biscuits & gravy.

We stayed in room 106, and it was a huge suite, with a fully equipped kitchenette, full size fridge and an electric stove. The king bed was comfy and we slept well. However, the carpet was stained and old. The suite has a small living room, kitchenette, then separate doors to the bedroom, and bathroom. It's a handicap bathroom, which we did not need. The furniture was old, crumpled looking and dark colors. We chose this hotel for the hot tub, but that was out of order for the past two years. Breakfast was plain, and minimal choices, I did not eat it. We will not stay here again, because this hotel needs to be remodeled, fresh colors, new carpets throughout, hot tub fixed. In its present condition it appears as a low budget motel, but in my opinion, this hotel does not qualify for the 3 star rating, online.

We were in room 217, we could hear people talking and tv in the next room. The neighbors were up 2 am to 4 am talking laughing and tv loud. If possible try not to book neighbors side by side or insulate the walls better.

I loved the Friendly staff and nice amenities. It was a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel for travelers
