Hotel Cottage

Good overall. Although, at check-in we were given a room different from what was booked. No bathtub although it was stated in the room's description and no view. We complained and not until we said we were leaving we were given a room according to the booking. Breakfast was really nice.

The hotel is very well situated on the board walk and within walking distance of stores and restsurants

Hotel Cottage was exactly what I was looking for... great access to the beach and a nice pool. I was in Montevideo visiting friends and didn't have time to go east to Punta del Este, but still wanted to get some sun... for that Hotel Cottage was perfect.

Great location. Comfortable rooms, and beautiful building in front of the the River Plata. Close to the airport and near wonderful eats. :)

This is a great hotel in the Carrasco area. They provide free parking, which is limited but adequate. The front desk is never crowded and they're happy to help. No one speaks English here, so be prepared to speak only in Spanish. The room I had was enormous and had all the amenities you could ask for. Even a balcony with an ocean view! The king sized bed was great and comfortable and offered lots of pillows. The restaurant is expensive, so I didn't try it. I would definitely stay here again!

Very organized for travelers coming from and especially departing for the airport. Flight information screen at reception. They will book transport for you. Excellent English speaking staff. Early coffee and snacks for early flights. The best last stop accommodation for those sadly departing beautiful Montevideo. Excellent neighborhood with shopping and restaurants within safe walking distance.
