Park Place Lodge

Close to the race venue. Allowed me to shower in the lobby since they wouldn’t make a one-hour concession for a late check out. I would have been out by noon. Breakfast was very good and the waitress friendly and attentive.

The bar was noisy under our room. Pillows were too thick, no thinner options available. A/C took literally all night (7 hours) to cool the room from 24 to 21. The door blind was broken, letting in very bright street lights. I would avoid staying here again.

Hotel was dated

The room was clean, everything was in good working order, and was comfortable. the bed was very comfortable. The room was older with a mishmash of styles and finished from random updates. The hotel light outside our window at night (Room 321) was visible even with the blackout curtains. The hot breakfast was tasty with good coffee and wonderful service. Internet service in the room was very poor.

Great view of the mountains from our room. Staff were very friendly and having the Pub attached to the hotel made dining quite easy.

The staff was great! We also received a lovely bottle of wine from Dorian due to our Anniversary falling on the day we arrived. Very considerate. Great room, clean, wonderful view. A little noisy being on the highway but with windows closed at nite it was fine. Overall a great stay.

This is a great place to stay !the Breakfast that is included was very well done . It’s in a nice location, about four blocks from the original downtown . I would like to see the rooms cleaned everyday though
