When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to check in. The staff generously upgraded our stay, which was completely unexpected and appreciated. Thank you.

The fold out couch was not comfortable.

Good location nice rooms

Breakfast was good.

No one seemed to govern the property. My family went to the hot tub around 9:30 and was unable to use it due to 15-20 young girls monopolizing the time. Noise till about 3am with excessive talking and slamming doors. Too bad someone couldn't deal with those obvious issues.

Staff were very helpful. Location was good(not close to town) and a pickup spot for tours. Breakfast was excellent.

Le breakfast est toujours le même et tourne autour des glucides et du sucre (préparations industriels). Un seul thé proposé. Il faut payer pour avoir un bon café. Les bains étaient en maintenance - c’est bien dommage. Il aurait fallu l’indiquer lors de la réservation. Les machines à glace et à boisson dans les couloirs des chambres font un bruit du tonnerre sur une amplitude horaire très importante.

Stayed at the Canalta lodge for 3 nights 4-7th May and can not fault this hotel at all. The room was clean,spacious, comfortable bed and great amenities. The breakfast was lovely and had everything you could want to start your day. For me, the staff made this place, they were so friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much to ask. Added bonus was the laundry facilities which for $7 for a wash and dry was a touch. The hot tubs and sauna were getting a make over whilst we stayed but there was still one tub to use which is needed after a day of sightseeing and being on your feet. The bar/lounge/foyer was lovely and comfortable with two log fires burning, blankets to use should you need it and the added touch of complimentary smores between 4-7 which co-insided with Happy hour at the bar, win win. Overall, this hotel was amazing and I definitely would recommend it.
