If you’re going to an Iowa football game, this location is ideal. It comes with breakfast, clean rooms, easy parking and only a six minute drive from downtown Iowa city.

I am not a frequent traveler. I stayed here by myself for a University of Iowa family weekend. I booked very late and didn't have many choices in the area. That being said, paying over $550 for a 2 night stay at this place seemed like highway robbery. They clearly jacked up the price to gouge the college families. This place is VERY dated. The bathroom towels were paper thin and the shower was on the low-flow side. I should have lowered my expectations. I don't think this hotel has seen renovations in 15-20 years. Disappointing.
