Property is older and perfection is not expected however, we enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location. In the middle of everything and that’s what we wanted. The air conditioner provided a muffle from any noise from the hustle and bustle of First Street activity. Definitely would stay again. In fact, we’ve stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

The staff was friendly

The hotel smelled like bug spray. I seen a huge dead bug behind the reception desk. My room was too small for the large furniture that was in there. The lighting in the room was terrible, there were no bright lights. The water pressure in the bathroom was painfully low.

Historic building with quaint bedroom and view. Charming staff. Outstanding barman offering excellent cocktails and menu suggestions.

Highly recommend you go out for breakfast. Enough said. Someone really should clean the downstairs restroom.

The bathroom and carpet in the room were not clean. I Normally walk barefoot All the time and I was concerned. I never found an inside stairwell only could use the outside stairwell to get out, but you can’t come back in that way. They originally told me they would leave for me outside and inside and both envelopes were inside, so thankfully I took down the code when they told me that over the phone is booked as a bed and breakfast and there is No breakfast

We've been here before and love it. It's like a step into a long lost era. Our only disappointment was that they changed our favorite room. The new paint is nice, but we missed the pictures of "George and Emily". They were the ghosts that made their presence known to us twice before. We missed wondering if they would be there or not... Now we don't know if they were associated with the building, room or the pictures themselves. All we know is that there were no more unexplained noises at night.
