Die Lage

Gebucht hatten wir das Mercure Hotel, dann war es nun aber eine neue Kette, Federkissen wurden uns als Allergikerfreundlich verkauft und zudem lag in der Lobby morgens überall Müll rum, selbst auf dem Thresen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang! Auf meine Bitte wurde Early Checkin ermöglicht. Gut eingerichtete und, komfortable Zimmer und ein gutes Restaurant.

Die Lage an einem Autobahnzubringer, etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum.

I booked this hotel a long time in advance and was really looking forward to my stay, so unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. When I arrived, breakfast was no longer available. The staff kindly provided croissants with jam and coffee, which I appreciated, especially since there are not many places to eat nearby. However, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was the expectation of having a proper breakfast. The biggest issue was the temperature in the room. During the first days, the outside temperature was around 30°C, and it was almost impossible to sleep. The air conditioning was set to 18°C at maximum, but the room remained extremely hot and stuffy. The windows faced a busy road, so sleeping with them open was not an option because of the noise. One night I even woke up in a panic because I felt like I couldn't breathe. I want to emphasize that the staff were very kind and genuinely tried to help. They showed me other available rooms after I asked to move, but the situation was the same throughout the hotel, so there was little they could do. It feels like something has changed in the management or operation of the property, but whatever the reason, the experience did not meet my expectations. Sadly, I will not be returning and left feeling very disappointed.

Generally is was alright. Good location and good price. Trams are easily accessible.

Could've used a bit more thorough cleaning in the bathroom. The upper part of the door had dried up vomit remains or some food remainings ..

Location was ok

Checking in I had to pay for my room, even though I had it pre-paid on booking.com. I was told to come back the next day for a refund, then the next day I was told to ask for the refund when checking out.. During check-out I was told the refund will come in the next 2 days. A week later and still no refund. I feel scammed.

The location was good and the beds and bathroom was good, decent prices too.

The aircondition was basically not working and just making noise. We woke up sweating and had a hard time sleeping a few of the nights. Also no fridge so couldn't store cold things to combat the heat.
