Hyatt Vacation Club at Windward Pointe has a lot to like. The units are comfortable and well equipped, the grounds are nicely maintained, and the check-in staff were friendly and efficient. I also appreciated the convenient location for getting around Key West, along with the onsite amenities like the pool and shared common areas. That said, the biggest drawback during my stay was noise, which impacted the overall experience. Units facing the main road are exposed to steady traffic sounds throughout the day and night, and the windows don’t do much to block it out. The pool area can also become quite lively in the afternoon and evening, with music and guest activity carrying directly into nearby rooms—especially those with patios overlooking the pool. On top of that, the property’s proximity to the airport means you’ll hear jets taking off. Taken together, the road, pool, and aircraft noise took away from what could otherwise be a very relaxing stay. If peace and quiet are important to you, I’d recommend requesting a room away from the road, not directly facing the pool, and ideally on a higher floor or courtyard-facing location.
