Visited Taj Fateh Prakash Palace for sunset snacks, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The stunning views of Lake Pichola during sunset created a magical atmosphere that is hard to put into words. The food was excellent, with delicious snacks and impeccable presentation. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. A special thank you to Kalu Singh Chauhan for his warm service and hospitality. His courteous nature and dedication ensured that our visit was memorable and enjoyable from start to finish. If you're in Udaipur and looking for a perfect place to enjoy great food, breathtaking views, and outstanding service, Taj Fateh Prakash Palace is a must-visit.

Our one-night family stay at the Taj Fateh Prakash Palace was an absolute masterclass in luxury and heritage hospitality. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of magnificent, leaving us completely spellbound by the grandeur of Udaipur. ​Palace Charm and Exquisite Upgrades ​We were incredibly fortunate to receive a room upgrade, and the accommodations were simply beyond reviewing. The spaces exude an authentic, palace-like charm with towering ceilings, exquisite traditional architecture, and a deep sense of royal history. Every corner felt like a living museum, beautifully accented by opulent decor pieces like the ornate peacock sculptures gracing the interiors. ​Squeaky Clean Perfection ​If there is one thing that stood out immediately about the maintenance of this grand property, it was that the entire palace was literally squeaky clean. The polished marble floors and pristine pathways were so immaculately kept that our shoes kept squeaking as we walked through the corridors and the beautiful, sunlit inner courtyards. ​A Picturesque Lakeside Sanctuary ​The property offers an unrivaled, serene view of Lake Pichola. Standing by the palace edges and looking out over the sparkling blue waters toward the iconic Lake Palace and the rolling Aravalli hills in the distance was incredibly peaceful. The courtyard walls, adorned with striking traditional Mewar paintings in the 'Rang Chowk' area, provide the perfect cultural backdrop to the stunning natural landscape. ​World-Class Dining and Hospitality ​The culinary experience was awesome, featuring rich, perfectly prepared dishes that did justice to the Taj reputation. However, what truly sets this property apart is the hospitality. The service was superb—full of genuine warmth, proactive care, and the signature Taj attentiveness that made our family feel like royalty. ​Taj Fateh Prakash Palace doesn't just offer a place to sleep; it delivers an unforgettable royal experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

*A Truly Royal Experience at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace* Staying within the City Palace complex where the royal family still resides sets the tone for the entire experience. We received a traditional Rajasthani welcome from the Taj team. They went above and beyond - arranging an early check-in and upgrading us to a luxury suite for a nominal charge. The upgrade was absolutely worth it. Our suite had a huge sit-out area with mesmerizing views of Lake Pichola. The room and the entire property are breathtaking - no surprise, since this was once the residence of Maharana Fateh Singh Ji. The heritage luxury is unmatched. The evening aarti at the ghat is magical. Breakfast was another highlight - delicious spread with great variety. Special thanks for serving our favorite Gujarati sweet, Mohanthal. Heartfelt thanks to Sujata Ma’am, Tanya Ma’am, and the gentleman who helped us during check-in, along with the security team. Everyone was warm, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. Had an absolutely wonderful arrival experience at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur. Right from the moment we arrived, the hospitality and warmth extended by the team made us feel truly special. The beautiful room decoration, cake, bouquet and thoughtful welcome arrangements completely exceeded our expectations and made the beginning of our Rajasthan trip incredibly memorable. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to the Ms. Sujata Pandey and Mr.Ravi Solanki Front Desk team and the Mr Lalit and his colleague from Housekeeping team for managing everything so perfectly and ensuring such a seamless and personalised experience for us. Every detail was beautifully taken care of and it genuinely reflected the legendary Taj hospitality. Also, a special appreciation for Mr. Sumeer, our chauffeur, who was extremely courteous, professional and welcoming throughout the pickup experience. He truly made our arrival smooth and comfortable. We are genuinely amazed by the warmth, attention to detail and overall experience so far and are looking forward to the rest of our stay. Staying at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace - a royal experience altogether. On our arrival, our stay was upgraded to a room that had a beautiful balcony overlooking the breathtaking lake Pichola. Apart from the timeless architecture and Amenities, hospitality was way beyond expectations. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and thoughtful. They made us feel special throughout our stay. About the restaurants in Taj Fateh Prakash Palace , I would like to say that great food tastes even better with great hospitality and this place delivered both beautifully. I am really thankful to Surendra Singh, Sumana, Sonu, Sonali, Shaitan Singh, Rupesh, Ramesh Meena, Narsi, Lalu Ram, Gourav, Govind Singh, and Dipendra Singh Chauhan for their exceptional hospitality.
