The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Getting to the hotel is a little tricky if coming from the south - a U-turn and quick merge over 2 lanes is required which can be challenging during rush hour, but its general location is handy. Walmart and a bunch of restaurants are a quick trip down the road and the freeway is super close. The Henry Ford Museum is about 10 minutes away. It's always nice having a hot breakfast in the morning, so I appreciated what they offered, but it was pretty basic. We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and it was the same exact breakfast every morning: eggs, sausage, bread & fresh fruit options, "juice", milk, coffee and Belgian waffles. Not complaining, but I've had better. The morning we checked out, the woman at the front desk was a great help in giving us a couple large garbage bags to wrap our flat tire in so it wouldn't stink up our car on the 500 mile trip back home, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, it was pleasant but I don't know if I'd be in a hurry to stay there again.

The front foyer looks nice like it's been renovated in recent years but that does not extend to the rooms. In our room, the carpet was dingy, there were patched spots on the walls that hadn't been painted over, the curtains were stained and the TV remote felt gross and sticky. We, unfortunately, got a flat tire from debris on the freeway and luckily made it back to our hotel (a huge plus for its location!) but the woman at the front desk wasn't very sympathetic or helpful when I asked for help/local suggestions. I was pretty shaken up, which she could clearly see, but.. she didn't go out of her way in any way whatsoever which felt pretty cold.
