The front desk staff refused to allow me to check in even though they have never met me.

The front desk staff is rude/unprofessional and protects/supports criminals. Front desk staff allows guests into other peoples' rooms without proper permission. Front desk staff allows dogs to be abandoned and alone in rooms without allowing owners to access them/care for them and/or without reporting their abandonment to proper authorities within a timely fashion. I didn't actually even get to stay as the front desk refused to allow me to check in after telling booking.com customer service that I could check in.

Proximity to freeway.

The TV didn’t work, the room was dirty, not maintained, stinky. The people staying here and lurking around the parking lot, lobby had crack house vibes. Dealers, users and it was scary to bring my child here.

The price we paid for a 12 hour stay.

The surprise of the need to provide a $100 dollar cash deposit. There ability to not be able to provide a receipt, and/email any of the documentation. The toilet water running all the time. Deposit as refunded after I confronted the front desk 3 hours later.
