Howard Johnson Hotel & Conference Center by Wyndham Salem

Did not look as pictures described, people doing drugs outside homeless people hanging out in front desk area breakfast was never there tiny lil mini muffins only extremely uncomfortable to walk thru lobby

Checking in there was a party going the conference center with loud music and I couldn’t hear the desk clerk. Went to our room and the room had not been cleaned for a new guest. Had to go back to the check in desk to get a new room. After making sure we got a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke as well and a musk smell, air was not on for a 90 degree day, dead bugs in the bathroom, hair dryer not working, and no working ice machine. Their definition for a hot breakfast was not. They did not have juice or any thing to drink and they had cold gravy and cold biscuits. There was only 4 channels to watch on the tv.

i didnt like anything about this hotel ...no tv ...no ice bucket for ice and the stuture was very messed up ...needs more up keep ...and i wouldnt tell friends of this this hotel ....very poor

The TV didn't work. Out on entire property. The sink didn't drain. The carpet was old and worn through. The door to the room next door didn't have a lock that worked. Had to put fridge in front of it. No one working. Loud people fighting all night in parking lot and no one stopping them. Manager refused refund.

Television only worked on 3 channels. Place was dirty. Staff was rude. Air barely worked.

Everything average except breakfast and room service. Breakfast was very simple, no proteins. Telephone was not working and no dial tone and we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk for an additional bath towel. The front desk person promised to deliver a bath towel in the same evening but we never got it until next day morning we had to personally pick up from the front desk. The building needs painting because we noticed peeled paint everywhere

Overall stay was ok the building was in poor condition stucko on most of the building was cracked or missing. Overall, outside of the building needs a facelift, it looks a little run down. our room it's 220 the door mechanism stuck real bad. You may get in the room or not. After many attempts. The stucco in the bathroom wall was completely missing down to the drywall not to mention housekeeping, will walk right in without any announcement. Have your door locked and breakfast options were very slim.

The washing machine was broken which was a bit of a let down for me. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Very satisfied with our stay. Great view to wake up to, laundry was broken, breakfast was mediocre. However our room was clean, everything was perfect! Thank you Sam for the wonderful service
