Econo Lodge Johnstown Downtown

Could not get the TV to work. The complimentary “breakfast” was nothing but a few packaged donuts and pastries

My experience at Red Roof Inn Johnstown was very disappointing. As soon as we entered the room, there was an overwhelming and unpleasant odor that made it hard to breathe comfortably. The most concerning part was that the bed and sheets had a strong smell of urine and were stained, making us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Additionally, the bathtub was leaking, causing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. To make matters worse, there were loud noises late at night, including people banging on the walls, which made it very difficult to get any rest. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel. There are serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and general environment that need to be addressed before this place can offer even a basic, acceptable stay.

Extremely convenient for any activity located in Johnstown. We were able to easily and safely walk to the restaurant and the concert venue with in minutes. Property was clean, but didn’t have a coffee pot in the room and only one pillow per person on the bed.

Everything was great! Location was my favorite!

It was very close to town and the venue where we went to see a concert. The rooms were small but clean. Weird smell.

Online said that there is a pool at this location and that was not the truth. My granddaughter was so disappointed. You can tell the sheets were not new sheets just the bed re made. The shower was dirty. I had to scrub with cleaner. Free breakfast was muffins in a pack and juice. They should re word it because its deceptive. Very disappointed and will never stay here again.

There was a party in two rooms across from us. The staff was unable or unwilling to control the party and it went on until 5:30 am. Fights in the hallway, foul language and constant slamming doors between the two rooms of the party. Staying with my three children and felt unsafe. No refund or formal apology from hotel.

Property was clean compared to last time (2 years ago) I was there.

I have stayed at a ton of different red roofs I always had pretty good luck. Should have known something was wrong when I had some homeless looking people hanging out in the parking lot. But once we got in the room the room was fine checking was fine. But it was like a animal house inside all night long. It was people running down the hallways slamming doors screaming yelling laughing until 2:00 in the morning. Then our room was filled with marijuana smoke for a couple hours. And once all that ruckus died down at 5:00 in the morning somebody got slammed into the wall three times and screamed like they were being attacked. It was a never ending saga I never felt more unsafe in a hotel room. There's obviously no supervision or security or rules. So other than that I mean the room was clean and neat and newly renovated it was just a zoo and you could get no sleep
