Econo Lodge Johnstown Downtown

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It was filthy in the room, so bad that I ended up leaving and finding another hotel in town.

Absolutely horrific stay. It’s under renovations and I couldn’t even get to the front desk to check in yet the lady insisted on us tossing items back and forth. I was traveling with 2 dogs, one of which is a service animal and the other is not. She accused me of lying to avoid paying the pet fee and demanded to see his paperwork. First, it’s illegal for her to ask for any paperwork on the animal because my disability is none of her business and second there is no governmental department that licenses service animals. There was supposed to be a breakfast but there was no breakfast. There were kids running through the halls yelling and screaming all night long. I don’t mind kids but loud brats in a hotel needs to be addressed.

They gave a room that was being remodeled. Left the spackling tool in the room wet.

Horrible. Filthy. Everything was falling apart. Hotel should be condemned.

We stayed in this hotel and had a terrible experience. The hotel is not clean, the outside of the building is rundown. During the night people were yelling and it was extremely disruptive. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Expedia should remove it from their website.

The proprieters do not have any interest in pleasing the clientelle

4 night stay Almost $500, no microwave, no coffee maker in room television so high on table almost touching ceiling, construction going on with hotel trying to upgrade it , terrible condition, breakfast consisted of a store bought box of 4 donuts to choose from, staff did the best they could but needs to be taken off Expedia site, Expedia should reimburse me for the money It cost me . Area unsafe too!!

They would not accept my Expedia Reservation (#72753875128819) dispited it being confirmed. They stated their was a problem with your credit card being rejected and instructed me to contact Expedia. I was forced to use my personal credit card and the Manager still hasn't responded to my request to speak to her for an explanation. I am due a refund of $314.38.

The rooms smell like smoke and are in pretty poor shape. The staff was very nice and changed our room upon request. The second room also smelled, but not as bad. All of our clothes, even the ones we never took out of our bags, smelled when we got home. I would only stay here if you have no other choice.

Not much of a breakfast. Had trouble with the remote for the TV. Almost impossible to change channels. Wasn't resolved after two nights,
