THe room stank of cigarette smoke The blankets and bed spread smelled of cigarette smoke. The HVAC unit put out an awful smell. Sorry, but this motel needs a new management

Needs to upgrade the Wi-Fi and get more TV channels or do a streaming option

Wi-Fi sucked it kept connecting and disconnecting so I couldn’t do anything on my phone and not many TV channels. Give more of a variety or do Netflix or some sort of streaming service

The staff was great and the property is very clean, but be warned it's old and clearly was a formerly smoking hotel. The linens are quite threadbare and the rooms (including the AC/heating unit) have an unmistakable smoke smell. There's very little in the area (we were there because we just needed a place to grab a few hours of sleep on a road trip) and the motel certainly tries. But if you're at all sensitive to smoke this is not the place for you.

We were traveling for sports and there really is not much in the area. That said, if anyone is sensitive to smoke, this is not the place for you. While the rooms are nonsmoking and no one was actively smoking, clearly the motel at one point allowed smoking. It's in the carpet, drapes, AC unit, and comforter. There was no way to avoid the smoking smell. The motel was spotless, and it was really just a quick overnight, but I wish we had driven a little further to a place that was a bit less musty.

My husband and I stayed in this motel for one night. I'm leaving the review in hopes that someone else is saved from our experience. It was a busy weekend that we stayed and there was some jazz festival going on. I feel like the room was probably twice the price of what it normally would have been. We paid over $200 for our room. We had reservations months in advance.We wanted to get out as quickly as we could and we checked in late and we were out the door before 7:00 a.m.We planned on staying for two nights but not after we saw the condition and smelled the entryway. I would rather have slept in our truck.This place reaks of smoke even though you get all these warnings that you'll be charged if they smell it in your room. We made reservations months in advance sight unseen.Place is dated and desperately needs remodel. Furniture is very old. The furniture in our room was very damaged.No place to charge or plug anything in because all of the old appliances and old lamps are plugged in. This place is using multi-plug adapters just to plug in what they need in the room. I requested clean sheets because I opened up the bedding and the sheets were not changed. They appeared to be dirty and included a bunch of dirt at the base of the sheets from feet. Nothing even smells clean or fresh including the towels. Didn't even smell bleach in the bedding. We wore Crocs In the room to keep our feet clean on the carpet. We didn't sleep under any of their bedding.The entire building smells of smoke and the carpet is filthy. I was afraid. I could not sleep. Noise in the parking lot and constant activity. The parking lot is full of holes and even has cones up so you don't lose your car in one. I didn't see any breakfast.Super 8 is aware of our experience and does not offer a refund or anything. If you stay here at least you will be aware. After asking for clean sheets to change the sheets myself I didn't feel like I could make any other concerns known for fear of retaliation.

First time staying in Norwich. It was a bit old. Blankets were stained, cigarette burns in it. Pot smell in the hallways. Clerk was VERY nice and friendly when we got in though which was after midnight! Have stayed at the Super 8 in Oneonta and that was is much nicer.

The staff gave it 5 stars.

Check-in was easy, the receptionist was very friendly. Our room had a heavy smell of mold, the building appeared in need of an upgrade. But overall we were satisfied it was just an overnight stay
