Residence Inn by Marriott Greenbelt

When I arrived, the toilet wasn't flushing properly, and there were holes in my sheets. I reported both things the following morning; when I returned to the hotel that evening, the toilet had been fixed, but the sheets had not been changed. The gentleman who was working in the dining area during breakfast was very helpful and polite.

The stay was pleasant and convenient.

Room 117 has an infestation of roaches Breakfast is horrible. All you get is scrambled eggs and sausage. they have no pancakes, no waffles nobody make an omelette. The pool is very small and it’s outdoor and it has a lifeguard and you have to sign in in order to use the pool. and the hot tub was never opened.

Rude Front Desk when checking in. I mentioned that as a single female traveler, I requested that my room be on an upper floor and that wasn't the case not to mention I was in a room right by the front door. The clerk's response was as if I was bothering her, no sorry or let me see. I was uncomfortable throughout my stay because of the location for starters. My bed had bugs but due to the rudeness of the front desk I didn't want to go and complain. I took pictures because I had bugs in the bed and some on the bathroom floor (the bugs weren't the same). As I was checking out the front desk young lady was very friendly and showed concern. She contacted someone and she also gave me some points since I'm a Marriott member. A maintenance man was working and she called him over so we could show him the bugs and so she could get his feedback. The guy was unconcern because she had to pull him away from what he was doing so he said I'll call an exterminator.

We had ants in our room even in the bed and poor houskeeping

At Che k in was told room were to be serviced every other day - on 3rd day, umm no, there’s only 2 housekeepers and they don’t clean on Fridays and Sundays. No phone in the room - well bro g you one tomorrow. It was probably not working and housekeeping removed it - 3rd day no phone. The bathroom door does not shut - 3rd day not fixed. Bathroom is disgusting with black stuff (mold?) on caulk and ceiling and bottom of shower curtain liner is ick. The best thing about this place is the guy that runs breakfast.
