Die Lage direkt am Strand ist sehr schön und definitiv ein großer Pluspunkt. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, allerdings sehr hellhörig – man hört nahezu alles, wenn jemand am Gang vorbeigeht. Beim Personal hatte ich teilweise den Eindruck, dass die Motivation etwas fehlt. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt aber in Ordnung.

We are so glad that we chose this resort for our honeymoon. The staff were lovely and kind. The rooms are spacious and clean. We picked a room with a partial ocean view and we got a beautiful ocean view. The garden is beautiful, ful of flowers and birds. Everything smells so good. Wifi works very good.

The pool is small and does not look appealing, but the property is a couple meteres from the ocean so it did not matter to us. Literally everything else was superb!

We recently returned from our 2nd Outrigger family vacation this year and can’t wait to return. We were so pleased to have May as our room host again despite being in a different wing of the resort. She made such an impression on our family during our first visit and made our second visit that much more special. The room hosts/ housekeeping staff work so hard, often without recognition. A huge shoutout to May and Teresa for your professionalism, dedication, and aloha! We took advantage this trip of participating in some of the many classes that are offered thru the Outrigger’s Hawaiian Cultural Center. The classes and activities offered are free and shared by the team in a sincere and authentic manner. Having these opportunities are reason enough to return.The team is a depository of knowledge and wisdom regarding Hawaiian history, culture, customs, language, music, and traditional Polynesian navigation. We can’t thank Malihini and Anela enough for the time spent with us, sharing your stories, answering our questions, and making us feel like ‘Ohana. Regarding the property itself, as I stated in a previous post, it is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and a few minutes walk along the beachfront path from Whaler’s Village , which is home to a multitude of retail stores and numerous restaurants. Both of our rooms were well appointed, quiet, comfortable, and kept immaculate by our hosts. To all the team members at the Outrigger, we say mahalo nui for another wonderful and memorable vacation.
