Ayres Hotel Seal Beach - Cypress

The only good quality about this stay was the size of the room. Staff was unhelpful in multiple ways. We requested months in advance 2 King bed rooms next to each other and was told that wasn’t possible despite asking at check in. Additionally there was a young girls softball team staying at the same time, they were harassing our room (banging on the door and calling and hanging up) until midnight. Front desk staff was not helpful, complained to them multiple times and nothing came from it.

Great hotel for all your needs for a home away from home. Called the hotel directly, got a GREAT rate, and talking to someone on-site made it easier to pick a room that would suit our needs. A family of 5 stayed in the 2 queens suite, and there was room for a pack and play as well as wheeling the stroller right in, and nothing was blocked! The breakfast suited whatever your needs were - big breakfast, snack, sausage and bacon, and eggs, and more! The pool was plenty large with a separate jacuzzi. Just an all-round great place to stay, and we could not have asked for more.

Staff was friendly

The rooms are dark with old fashioned unattractive furniture. Many rooms look out at the parking lot. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar. It’s located on a very busy street.
