The pool and breakfast

Upon arrival the reception area looked in great need of a refurb, old, worn furniture..should have been the warning sign really. After 15 mins of waiting for service at reception, I called them and the guy arrived looking like he'd just woken up. Something just didn't feel right so we asked if we could check our room, only to find that the glass window was broken, infact shattered but just about intact...there was evidence of dog hair on the bedding, couch ( they are a pet friendly hotel but nevertheless) and the bathroom was not clean at all. For the Superior King Suite, ot was beyond disappointing. Upon returning to reception there were guests running around corridors, reception and it was simply chaotic ( 11.30pm at night ) There is no way the photos of the hotel reflect the actual hotel and we did not feel safe to stay at all. Reading other reviews seems to show a thread of similar issues. With the help of booking.com we managed to cancel our booking and found a much more higher clean standard hotel for the same cost locally. This hotel should be reviewed carefully before booking

Check in staff was great. Once we got to the room it was clear that it hadnt been cleaned effectively if at all. There were fresh stains on the bedding, hair left in the bed, missing light bulbs, broken toilet paper holder, dirty mirror in room, dust on the tables, and the walls were breaking down. We notified the front desk and the person that came to change the bedding was not happy to do so and tried to only change the top sheets. Unfortunately it was a prepaid room and we were running late to an event or we would have went somewhere else. Knowing the condition of the room, we skipped the free breakfast. Will not stay there again.

Total disrepair, elevators smell moldy, hallways smell of cooking foods, horrible internet, carpets are shot, beds you feel and hear the springs, poor water pressure, ..... 2 time here never again.

The staff was friendly, but the place was/is a mess. In my room, the hair dryer was not attached to the wall but was lying on the counter and did not work. Had to request a new one. First, iron has a sticky substance on it, so I asked for a new one, but I had to walk down to the front desk due to the phone in my room not working. Received second iron, got back to room, iron did not work, had to ask for a third one. On the first day, after leaving the room, I returned to only the restroom, having new towels; the rest of the room was still a mess. I believe people live at this location, as the hall is lined with garbage and used grocery meat containers daily. All in all, the place is a disaster.. Would not recommend anyone staying here.

Location, price, space, decor and clean lobby.

It was a smell that was coming from the sink or faucet water but I lit my candle to mask the smell. Also the floor wasn’t that clean but not major to complain and flat pillows.

First room - the bed was not made, and the floor was extremely dirty and not clean. Second room - towels were dirty, and room smelled like cigarette smoke.
