Hampton Inn Clifton Park

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good. However, where are the china cups for morning coffee?

No cups in the bathroom. No pen and notepad in the room. Rooms don't get made up if your stay is for two nights. We didn't see the little sign in the bathroom stating this until the morning we were checking out. We were shocked to get back to our room late at night after a long day out to find our bed unmade and our dirty linens on the floor. You should tell guests this at check-in!

The breakfast was tasty and there were several options to choose from. The hotel was conveniently located to the highway and was just a short 10-minute drive to The Saratoga Racecourse. There were many restaurant options, even a few within walking distance.

The hotel could use some updates; the wall-to-wall carpeting is dated and musty. Our room in particular had an industrial sized fan blowing in the room upon arrival. When I questioned the front desk about this the attendant said that they must have just cleaned the carpets. The room smelled, but when I asked if we could have another room, I was told that they were sold out. Another downside to this hotel is that the cleaning service only comes in every other day and you have to ask if you want new towels. Disappointed in the service provided in relation to the cost of the room.

No armchair, just a desk chair in the room. Toilette clogged. Repeatedly. No good for the price. Unsatisfied.

Clean and spacious room. Welcoming staff. Dog-friendly areas to sides of hotel. Good breakfast selection. Other parking lot properties to rear of hotel seem run down.
