This property was weird. Not sure how else to describe it. The location was a quick one stop away from the airport by bus that goes 24 hours every 20 minutes but there was nothing around it. Not a store, restaurant, bar...you could starve. The hotel only served breakfast so make sure not to arrive hungry. You could get downtown by bus which run pretty regularly but by staying in a place outside the city center you never get the vibe of the city and Alicante is a cool city. So although I usually enjoy staying at Ibis properties, this was a no go for me. Oh and the room was just strange. They took the industrial look to a whole new level in a bad way. The room was dark and kind of creepy. I felt like I was on Mars. It won't stop me from staying at Ibis properties in the future....just not this one.
