Great location and well priced for our family of 4. We enjoyed the connection with the gym next door. Although the hotel is in a busy area, it was quiet inside. Easy check in and check out processes. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were serviced daily.

Pool was small and shallow. Rooms were basic but comfortable and had everything you would expect in a hotel room.

The Hotel was in a good location.

The check in procedure - there was no reception desk and the self service check in didn't work properly and we were charged twice for the accommodation. There did not seem to be enough staff on duty and it was a shambles with the staff standing around a central column in the foyer. All very confusing and frustrating.

Location

Arrived at 1.15am and couldn't get into the hotel. However, eventually, the staff let me in. The initial key did not work after going up to my room—no blanket on the bed. The room felt grimy and old.

The fact the TV wasn’t working due to flat batteries. Also housekeeping, particularly replenishing tea and milk supplies, was poor.

Booking taxi to leave.

Self serve online check in. No bar, no restaurant ...therefore unable to utilise priority rewards. Entry location is in a grotty laneway. This Rydges does not live up to other Rydges Hotels. A huge disappointment and not to be repeated or recommended to others.
