Nice big room, lovely roof with character, comfortable bed, free coffee.

NO HOT WATER! I only stayed one night and had to checkout in the morning so whilst I’m sure this could have been fixed there just wasn’t the time to call the owner and have him come and fix it. I had to take a cold shower. The online check in process is also quite tricky, not well designed for mobile.

Location was in the heart of the Palermo action with markets and cafes/restaurants running until late. Communication from the host was very helpful when locating the property and gaining access through the big green street door. The room was secure, clean and comfortable.

We only stayed one night, but we didn't sleep well. The window handle was broken and the windows didn't open so we had the air conditioning running, which was dripping water within the room. My partner had to keep getting up and putting a cup under the drip to catch the water so it wouldn't go onto the.floor. Need less to say, in the middle of the night the cup overflowed and we had a big mopup on our hands! Perhaps the AC needs maintenance. Plus, parking was a nightmare if you are planning on driving to the accommodation.
